The 11th Workshop on High-Dimensional Approximation will take place from
8 to 12 February 2027, in Sydney, Australia, on the campus of the University

The High-Dimensional Approximation (HDA) Workshop is a series of biennial
international meetings covering current research related to high-dimensional
approximation. The scope of the 11th workshop ranges from high-
dimensional approximation theory to computational methods and engineering
and scientific applications. Topics include, but are not limited to, nonlinear
approximation, numerical integration, neural networks, tensor decomposition,
sparsity-exploiting approximation, sparse grid methods, quasi-Monte Carlo
methods, polynomial chaos expansions, discrepancy and dispersion theory,
dimensionality reduction, uncertainty quantification, machine learning,
reduced-order modelling, and inverse problems.
We would like to bring to your attention the following important dates:

to join the project "Data science at scale" at the Technical
University of Munich. The role focuses on developing scalable HPC
algorithms and general-purpose linear solvers to train neural
networks that represent solutions to partial differential equations
(PDEs). Ideal candidates hold a Master's degree in Informatics,
Mathematics, or a related field, and possess strong expertise in

Experience or good knowledge with some or all of the following areas is highly
desirable: computational and applied mathematics, especially numerical and
applied analysis of partial differential equations (PDEs)/stochastic PDEs and
stochastic processes, and physics, especially fluid dynamics and statistical
physics.
