General guidelines for submissions

The subject line should be descriptive and no more than 70 characters.

Examples of good subject lines:

  • Change of address for Joseph P. Smith
  • Call for Moler Prize Nominations - Deadline Jan 30 2007
  • New book, Advanced Methods for Numerical PDEs
  • Workshop in honor of J. P. Smith's 65th Birthday, Mar 2007
  • Call for submissions, SIAM Annual Meeting, Jul 2007 <-- All meetings should include the month and year
  • Call for papers, SIOPT Special Issue on Combinatorial Programming
  • Postdoc position in Numerical Analysis at Boston University
  • Contents, SIAM Journal on Matrix Analysis <-- All journal listings should begin with "Contents,"

The message must be plain text and fit in the box below (70 characters per line and 30 lines or less). Longer submissions will generally be edited to fit in the box. We recommend providing a URL for detailed information such as program committees, schedules, registration forms, etc. We recommend including https:// at the beginning of any URL because it helps email clients to recognize that it is indeed a URL and make it clickable.
